NOVA ROLLOUT COMMERCIAL ROOFING UNDERLAYMENT

NOVA ROLLOUT IS A LIGHTWEIGHT, DURABLE SYNTHETIC TEXTILE FIBER COMMERCIAL ROOFING ROLL UNDERLAYMENT FOR USE UNDER THERMOSET AND THERMOPLASTIC SINGLE-PLY ROOFING MEMBRANES. THE ROLL PRODUCT IS COMPOSED OF PROCESSED TEXTILE FIBER THAT IS NEEDLED FOR STRENGTH AND RESIN BONDED FOR DURABILITY.

USES       ADVANTAGES
USE AS AN UNDERLAYMENT UNDER THERMOSET AND THERMOPLASTIC SINGLE-PLY MEMBRANES INSTEAD OF FIBERBOARD OR PERLITE ROOF INSULATIONS OR AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR OTHER SINGLE-PLY SEPARATOR SHEET MATERIALS.

(1) Specimens conditioned 166 hours @ 158 degrees F.
(2) Thickness determined using an Ames device with a 3/8" diameter measurement foot and a 5 oz weight.
(3) Specimens submerged for 100 hours @ 122 degrees F.  After water submersion, specimens were hung vertically for 10 minutes, followed by brief immersion in acetone; the specimens were then allowed to air dry at laboratory conditions for 30 minutes prior to final weighing.
(4) Test was conducted using two different assemblies:
    
a) Black 0.045 mil non-reinforced EPDM over 1 1/2" polyisocyanurate insulation
      ("EPDM/ISO")
      b) Nova Rollout inserted between black 0.045 mil non-reinforced EPDM and 1 1/2"
      polyisocyanurate ("EPDM/Nova/ISO")
